Ernest Clark Davis

Ernest Clark Davis, 82, of Tallmadge, passed away on April 14, 2026. He was born on May 3, 1943 to the late Earl and Helen Davis.

Married for 27 years to the love of his life Patricia.

Ernie was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and retired as a Lieutenant from the Akron Fire Department after 25 years of service. He always said being a Firefighter was the greatest job anyone could have and missed the morning shift with the guys.

In his free time, enjoyed skiing and hitting the golf course with longtime fellow firemen and friends.

Those that knew Ernie, he was that guy if you needed help you didn’t have to ask a second time he was there. He had also volunteered for Red Cross { natural disasters } Katrina, Sandy etc.

Ernie loved life and meeting people he was a talker.
